1. Introduction
ShowFloor AI ("ShowFloor," "we," "our," or "us") provides floor visualization, client and project tools, visual proposals, hosted showrooms, and website visualizer embeds for flooring contractors. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to contractors and the homeowners or other customers who submit information through a ShowFloor-powered experience.
This Privacy Policy applies to showfloor.ai, app.showfloor.ai, hosted ShowFloor showrooms, visualizer embeds on approved contractor websites, and related support, sales, and marketing services (collectively, the "Services").
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide, information submitted through a contractor’s ShowFloor experience, and limited technical information generated when the Services are used.
- Account and business information. We collect names, email addresses, login credentials, company details, branding, contact information, and subscription or support history from contractors and team members.
- Project and customer information. Contractors may add client names, contact details, project notes, room photos, material selections, measurements, pricing, proposals, and acceptance activity.
- Website visualizer submissions. A homeowner or other prospect may provide a name, email address, phone number, project photo, selected materials, consent confirmation, and related project details through a hosted showroom or visualizer embedded on a contractor’s website. That submission is delivered to the contractor whose showroom or website the prospect used.
- Uploaded and generated media. We process room photos, material or swatch images, logos, and generated previews to provide visualization and proposal features.
- Usage and device information. We may collect IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, feature interactions, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events through logs, cookies, and analytics technologies.
- Payment information. Stripe processes payment-card information for subscriptions and purchases. ShowFloor receives transaction and subscription details but does not store complete card numbers or card security codes. Stripe’s policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information when necessary to provide the Services, fulfill our agreements, operate and protect the business, comply with law, and honor choices or consent where required.
- Provide and personalize ShowFloor. This includes authentication, material libraries, visualization generation, client and project organization, proposals, team workspaces, billing, and support.
- Deliver visual leads. When a prospect uses a contractor’s hosted showroom or website embed, we use the submission to generate requested previews, send service messages, and deliver the lead to that contractor for follow-up.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Services. We use technical and usage data for troubleshooting, availability, fraud and abuse prevention, performance measurement, product analytics, and feature improvement.
- Communicate about the account or service. We may send verification, billing, proposal, lead, support, security, and other transactional messages. Marketing communications are sent in accordance with applicable preferences and law.
- Process purchases and maintain business records. We use subscription and transaction details for billing, accounting, refunds, tax, and compliance.
- Publish approved customer stories. We use a person’s name, company, testimonial, or project media in public marketing only with permission or another valid right to do so.
4. How Information Is Disclosed
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only as needed to provide and protect the Services, complete a transaction, follow your direction, or meet legal obligations.
- The contractor receiving a visual lead. A submission made through a hosted showroom or embedded visualizer is shared with the contractor identified in that experience. The contractor’s own privacy practices govern its later sales follow-up and use of the lead.
- Service providers. We use providers for cloud hosting and storage, authentication, AI rendering, email delivery, payments, analytics, monitoring, and security. They may process information only to perform services for ShowFloor under applicable agreements.
- Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce agreements, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or defend legal claims.
- Business transfers. Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
- At your direction. We disclose information when you ask us to share it, connect another service, publish content, or otherwise give permission.
5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain the contractor’s account and project history, resolve disputes, protect the platform, and meet tax, accounting, or legal requirements. Retention varies by data type and account status. A contractor may delete supported records in the product or contact us about account deletion. A prospect who submitted a visual lead may contact both the receiving contractor and ShowFloor to request appropriate access, correction, or deletion.
6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, authenticated accounts, tenant-level authorization, restricted administrative access, encrypted network transport, expiring media links, monitoring, and service-provider controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Contractors are responsible for protecting their credentials, managing team access, and using the Services from appropriately secured devices.
7. Do We Collect Information From Minors?
The Services are intended for businesses and adults seeking flooring services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
8. Your Choices
You may update supported account information in ShowFloor, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided, and control cookies through your browser or available consent tools. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about disclosures. We will verify and respond to applicable requests as required by law.
9. Policy Changes and Contact
